Author of www.orium.org, Kai Fierle Hedrick is a Canadian/American mixed-media writer whose research interests circle around collaborative, community-engaged practices. Previously she has worked in project coordination, devising/facilitating CROSS-DISCIPLINARY WRITING WORKSHOPS for young people via organizations like the East-Side Educational Trust & teaching creative writing as a Visiting Lecturer at Royal Holloway, University of London. In 2007 she also co-coordinated the interdisciplinary conference Power & Space: Transforming the Contemporary City (Cambridge, UK). Kai is now Program Manager of the Weekly Mentor Program at the non-profit Free Arts NYC & Managing Editor of the online journal How2.
